Sluggish Action produced few real winners...

Today's trading was sluggish at best. I was actually not really impressed at all with the overall market performance. Earlier, I was able to steal a few glances of the market during breaks inbetween my classes and I found a few stocks that are worth mentioning.

Evergreen Solar (ESLR) at 11.20 was one of todays brightest performers with an increase of +1.60 (+16.60%). I briefly talked about ESLR a few weeks ago while it was trading around the $8 range. I recommened it as a buy that could double ($14-16). If you bought some, I recommend you sell some at this point to grab a little profit. If you'd rather press your luck and try to catch another 20% gain, then sell 25% of your position now for a small profit and sell the rest when it reaches your desired price range! Thats just my opinion! It's what I would do! Disclosure: I have no position in ESLR at this time.

Not a bad chart at all! There is a good chance that ESLR can blast off to $14-$16. My only concern is that the stock may be subject to profit taking at this level which can send it tumbling down to below $10. Also check out how DayStar Technologies Inc (DSTI) rallied in sympathy of ESLR's great earnings and large contract announcement!

This is a close one. HOM needs to hold itself up (which I believe it will) otherwise, major dumping will commence! There were more buys today than sells and on average volume so I believe the situation is leaning on the bullish side.





Solexa Inc (SLXA) is still doing its thing, which is hard to believe! I think the stock has been closing slightly higher each day! Way to go SLXA!

Questcor Pharmaceuticals Inc (QSC) is red-hot right now! Believe it or not, its still not under the radar of traders. My advice, get a postition locked in before all hell breaks loose! The stock is currently at $1.02. I plan on buying some for myself on Monday. I hope I get a break into the 0.80-0.97 cent area so I can load up. Overwise the 1.02-1.05 range will have to do.

Lol, I dont even know why the stock is hot except for the fact that insiders are buying like crazy. I will do some research on this stock during the weekend before buying! I don't just want to jump in without having a clue what this company is about, geez, lol.






American Oriental Bioengineering Inc (AOB) has staged a nice breakout today! The last piece of good news that the company put out was in regards to its new availability of options trading. No news came out to support the big breakout leading me to believe that there may be a news leak and big news out on this coming week. Or, maybe the breakout was a technical one. We will soon see. For now, the stock is trading at $6, up +.52 cents from yesterday (+9.49%).

Relm Wireless Corp (RWC) is a fighter! After taking a dip to its 50day Ma, RWC bounced back up along with a slew of institutional buys to support the bounce up! Now that is nice! The stock is currently trading at 5.37.
