Price Check in the Discount Stock Aisle, please!

Ladies and Gents,

I'm done with midterms for now, so I had some time today to take a trip down the discount aisle at the NYSE market. Luckily I brought back some goodies at a discount! And without any fancy shmansy coupons! 'Kay, here's my stock grocery list....


Allied Health Care (AHCI) at 6.53. Yes this is the same AHCI I recommended a few weeks ago! I am telling you, this stock is hot! It has a very nice chart that is starting to improve and some insider buys as well! Don't miss the boat on this one, its gonna be a double!

Gotta love the chart! The 50day Ma is showing a definite reversal pattern. Entry in the $6 range is fine. Get in before it hits $7.

Lets be realistic for a moment: The holiday season is coming up. Without a doubt, our fat a$$es are going to eventually eat 5 pounds of turkey ( or imitation turkey if bird-flu hits stateside), 7 pounds of stuffing, a whole apple pie, some sweet potatoe pie, corn on the cob and a whole lot of leftover Halloween candy. The point is, you're gonna need to hit the gym to get rid of some of that junk in da trunk, =) . What better way to do that, then to join up at a gym? But not just any gym. But THE gym, and thats Bally Total Fitness (BFT) for that a$$!

BFT's chart is not just a pretty picture. It is a product of continuing investor and institutional buying support! This stock is hot and people are starting to notice! Get in before it hits $8!








Next up is CBIZ Inc (CBIZ) at $5.83. CBIZ is a small cap stock with big ambitions. CBIZ is in the Commercial Consulting Industry and is arguably the most attractive stock, technically in its group. CBIZ provides accounting and tax advisory preparation. While what CBIZ does, does not sound exciting, CBIZ's 3rd quarter results speak for themselves! CBIZ's net income rose to over $2,000,000 this year, versus #356,000 last year! Not bad!

Actuate Corp (ACTU) is another hot stock! First time I'm mentioning it, so pay attention! At the moment, ACTU is at $3.04. ACTU is in the Computer Software-Enterprise industry, which I must say, has been pretty hot lately! Some other notables in that industry are CNQR, TALX, CPTV, ASFT, INFA, etc. Now its ACTU's turn to shine! Despite being in a heavily populated industry, ACTU holds its own and stands out among 150+ stocks! ACTU is looking like an attractive play with a great technical standpoint.

Beautiful chart! Notice the increase in volume? This is what is going to drive up this stock to the $4-5 range in the upcoming days!










Interwoven Inc (IWOV) at 9.50 is something you should take a good look at cause its about to blast off! Today, the stock experienced heavy buying on the institution side. I believe that this heavy buying is going to continue, as more and more people realize how hot IWOV is! IWOV is in the Internet Software industry and it provides software for management of data and info between its customers, suppliers and partners. Although IWOV was downgraded from outperform to market perform by Piper Jaffray, institutions still keep buying. That is because they realize the value that this stock contains! It is one of the more attractive stocks in its group, both fundamentally and technically.
