Vhdupati,

My strategy for picking stocks has essentially been the same since day one. You could go through all my old posts since 2005 and you will see several common themes such as taking advantage of stocks in industry groups that are under aggresive accumulation and/or trading stocks that are the top performers of the current market (regardless of market conditions). Trades are seperated into short term trades (several days to several weeks) and others into longer term trades (several weeks, months and perhaps longer)depending on if I am just speculating or riding an earnings growth story. The only thing that has changed about my strategy is the means in which I find the type of stocks that I have outlined. Trading software and comprehensive trading programs and scanners such as those offered by AbleSys, IBD, Telechart, etc allow you to create scans in order to search for stocks that fit your criteria.

At the moment I am much to busy to start another site. I am a student, a business owner, entrepreneur and a trader. On top of that I have a million other things going on in my life. I feel lucky enough to be able to post on the blog once in a while. What I could do in the future (time permitting) is to add more charts and more commentary on my picks and why I picked them. Kind of how I did back in the day. I do miss those days where I had more time to devote to the blog.....

Thanks for your reply. I looked at your initial posts and liked your analysis. If you could post that kind of stuff again it would be great.

I am also in the same boat with lot of things going in my life at the current moment. I am a MBA student, an IT manager and a trader. Also started few websites with my friends.

In addition I recently became a dad, so busy with my cute little girl.

Any ways, I wish you good luck and hope to see more posts (including analysis) from you.

thanks. good luck to you as well. I am currently pursuing another Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering. I am hoping that when I get some time during my school break I can get back to posting some more charts and analysis on individual stocks (at least until classes start again). We'll see how things go.. take care
