QSC is kicking it up a notch....

hey folks,

remember when I recommended this little gem? It seems to me that I recommended it a little too early, as the stock had quickly run up to a little over a 1.00 a few days after recommending it. Soon after, the stock took a little dip. I was also a little dissapointed as well since I had accumulated some shares in the .90 cent range, but also at the 1.00 range as well. Silly of me, I know. So when the stock took a dip the .80 cent range, I picked up some more. Now look how the stock is behaving! It's sticking a lot closer to its 50day Ma and is looking quite attractive! I feel like we may have a real winner on our hands! Stay tuned.

Oh by the way, my HANS short turned out to be ill-fated. Lesson learned. Never short a market leader, no matter how far its extended until there are more powerful sell signs.

hey Dave,

I see its crazy out by you with the snow. It snowed over here too, but not enough to cancel. I kept NGAS, and NGS on watch, but I feel as if they didn't have a chance since Nat. Gas slid down once it hit its 52wk hi.
Lol, well technically HANS is my 2nd short. The first stock I shorted was OVTI, when it ran up big. I figured I'd grab a little bit on the down side, so I guess I am a noobie, lol. But I still believe that HANS has quite a run and needs to retrace, so on the strength of that, I decided to short some (its all good, its a small position, so It wont make or break me...just for practice). Besides, I don't really like HANS product personally. I prefer SOBE, more than Hanson or that Monster drink they have.
Eh, shorting is ok, it really works well in a bear market, or when you want to grab some percentage points of a stock that has jumped over 20% in a short time period.
I like your plays, so far they are doing great. TIE hit an all time high, but then retreated a little due to profit taking. i am sure this will also provide a buying opp for those who still want in. I have another interesting stock that you should look at. I was going to post it, but I don't have the time. The stock is VHI. It is actually the +80% owner of TIE. And get this, the stock hasn't moved much in a while. The positive thing about it is (despite the low float due to managment owning most of it)the volume is increasing and the stock looks like it is on a verge of a breakout. Besides, with all the success of TIE, one would think that some of that Success should've rubbed off onto VHI. Anyway, check it out, let me know what you think about it, Dave.
I agree on what you said bout the market being a place where a company is rewarded. Very true! I think thats why its important to find companies with insider ownership. Even if a company doesn't have any recent insider buys, if it at least has insider ownership and good quarter growth, then you have a hit!
I'm glad I finished the Buddhism paper! Geez, took me all night! All I know is, Buddhism is an interesting religion, but its very hard to understand, especially if your prof. speaks horrible english(engrish, as he says, lol)! So hopefully I did good, I wrote 8 pages. Good luck on your programming project, Dave! I got a lot of studying for this weekend, and a ton more hw! Anyways, Later Dave. Talk to you soon!

Hey Dave!

Telecom is definatly hot, especially foreign telecom!
I know shorting is not everyones bag of tea. Still I see it as a way to make more dough. Know I will admit, I probably should have never shorted HANS, at least not yet! Also, I know DCEL is coming back and SFP is as well. Personally, I like DCEL's chart more, since its ready to break out into the 8's. SFP is looking like it will perform a double bottom before popping its head over the 50day.
I agree, its good to ignore the negative, overvalued stocks. I am trying to get a hang of that since I do not realize a stock is overvalued! Is it with the P/E ratio?? I need to read up on fundamental cues!
Buddhism is alright, but it sucks when your prof doesn't speak good engrish, or spanlish for that matter, loL!
I agree VHI is looking decent. Volume has picked up and I even so saw big orders coming in! Who knows, maybe a big pop coming soon. As sad as it is to say, it seems that they are going up now that they took some profits from TIE. I guess since they own a lot of TIE it makes sense that they have increased their cash since they sold some. So thats why it may be going up. Because if you notice, while TIE was going up like crazy, VHI wasn't moving at all!
Lol, geez Im tired. I've been getting like 3.5 hrs sleep on average. I can't wait till this semester is over! anyways off to study! Good luck with everything school and stock related! Ill talk to you soon! Later!

-Nick!
