Hey Nick,
Can you please run CRNT charts for me? Has been reversing strong.
thanks
btw, I sold out of majority of HYGS at about 20% profit. Will watch for now.
Andy,
good job on taking profits on HYGS. HYGS has been consolidating for a bit now. I should have taken some off the table but I hesitated. Maybe this coming week. I ran a chart on CRNT. It looks like it is bouncing off of a short term bottom. Too early to tell if it will be a sustainable move. As far as running a chart, what do you mean?? You want me to post a chart of the stock or give you my analysis/opinion on it?
And quite a bounce that was; CRNT! I'm glad you pointed it out, Andy. It's an interesting business model for those who care about that too ;) [offering backbone "cabling" through microwave, for cellular companies.]
I'm only slightly concerned that it ran up too much on Friday, but if the "interest" seemed to maintain itself over the next week, I'd like it for a quick trade (next couple of trading days, rather), conceding pretty volatile risks in it.
From your more disciplined perspective, Nick, I'm interested in your opinion as well.
-Chad.
Nick, thanks for your opinion on CRNT. Really that is all I needed, and as always very appreciated.
Chad, CRNT reports Monday and that may set a trend for it. They have been hit with slowing business in US but have been raking it in from developing countries (BRIC et al...)
I missed on IMAX, was a given that the name will receive a lot of publicity around Batman's release and was at less than 7 bucks a week ago! Have a small position in that one from low 7's (this is from two months ago).
Happy Sunday!
Chad and Andy,
From a technical perspective, CRNT seems to be putting in a short term bottom. If earnings are a positive surprise, expect a nice spike up. So far, the stock seems to have run up in anticipation of earnings. Personally, I will just be watching it and not playing it. I have a negative bias towards stocks that still show a downtrend on the weekly. I tried to give MVIS a chance a few weeks ago (thinking it bottomed) and it blew up on me. One nice stock to watch that may bottoming out is JOEZ. PARL is another good one. Just my 2 cents.
Anyways, I will be rather busy tomorrow, so do not be surprised if I do not post any new picks or add ons.
