About Me

Hello and welcome to my blog. My name is Nick and I am a recent graduate of a top research university. I currently hold a BA degree in Psychology. My main interests are industrial/organizational psychology, HR management and of course, securities and the financial markets. I became interested in trading and investing in stocks a few years ago by pure chance and curiosity. After learning some of the basics in 2003, I began to trade in full force in 2004. Although I've been trading for only a few years, I have learned much about stocks, and analyzing charts in this relatively short time span. My experience and chart reading skills are my edge in successfully navigating the stock market. My strategy and discipline is a blend of trader and stock picker. My style of trading has helped me find some of the current markets top winners in their infancy. In addition to my own personal trading and investing, I also manage assets and portfolios for close friends and family. My goals are to continue to improve and refine my trading/investing strategies in order to further enhance my performance in the market. Eventually, I would like to establish my own investment/asset management firm.

Took a position in ACLS @ 1.08.
Chad,
Be careful as ACLS can retrace to 1.00 level. Not a good time to be making new buys...my 2cents

Bad call on the market direction on my behalf. I hope you made out like a bandit on ACLS!
Lol. I held on to it. It picked up a lot of strength midday, and looked like normal profit taking at the end of the day. I'll see where it goes!

Looks like ACLS is still going strong. I see that 1.11 is the new stop on it. Also watching HPJ. It is showing some strength above 3.00
I may buy some if it pivots towards the high of the day...
I hope you grabbed some LIWA off of yesterdays lows!

I ignored LIWA all yesterday after entering ACLS; got sidetracked. Whole market today is in the toilet today! But I like it when everything is going down and my positions tread water instead ;)
I'm going to take a few looks at some of the others on your list again. I wanted another position but everything was flimsy today.
Yeah. HPJ looks good on its support. I'm going to pick up a position if it keeps retracting from its low today.
I'm going to post up another list of new buy candidates shortly before the market close. Another stock to keep an eye on is APT.
Nothing worth buying, I will post a new buy list later on tonight...
Agreed. I was watching HPJ for the last 40 minutes of the trading day. It bounced on its support for a while and then broke it, hit a bunch of stops, and plumetted to a nasty close. We'll see what happens tomorrow.

I picked up some HPJ but I didn't get a chance to grab it at its low. Lets see what happens tomorrow. I should've waited until the last 10 min of trading to grab some...
I picked some up this morning @ 3.08. I looked like it was trying to pick up. I'm watching it close today, though.

I jumped in at 3.20, unfortunately. Again, I should have waited until the EOD. ACLS is still acting very well. If it breaks above resistance at 1.30 I would be a buyer and it would be a good level to add more to your position...jmho
Okay, if the market is near its HOD by the EOD, I will post another buy list...
Brazilian stocks are in play: GOL, NETC

I don't think today is going to be any better. I would hold onto that ACLS as long as it performs well...
Starting to see some movers. Airline and Media stocks are doing fine.
MESA, PNCL, GOL, XJT
ETM, EVC, RGCI, ROIAK, SBSA
ACLS is making me a happy trader! ;) I'm definitely holding it until it shows me something else. HPJ turned nicely today, I'm still watching it close though.

Might want to take some profits out of ACLS, especially if it closes near today's low. just my 2 cents...
