Trying to Cope and Evolve with such a Dynamic Market
Presently we are in a very dynamic and volatile market. One day, a hot shot stock can be up 5% and down 2% the next day. Or maybe you are holding onto a stock that doesn't seem to be performing well, while a few stocks you have on your watch list have started making 52wk highs. What are you to do? You are consumed by the frustration of watching one of your stocks (that you believed was a good stock 2 weeks ago) falter, while the stocks on your watchlist are on fire. Should you keep holding onto your dud, hoping to cut back some of your losses and then switch to the other stocks? Hell NO! Assuming your losses are not tremendous, it is better to switch out of the dud stock and into a "better" one that is responding in a more positive manner relative to current market conditions. For Example, smart investors who switched out of retail stocks and into Oil/Gas and Bio-pharm stocks were rewarded tremendously by making that switch. Why stick with a loser stock? Taking small losses in order to maximize on a new, potentially more rewarding opportunity are essential tricks of the trade that should be applied to any smart traders or investors strategy. I know I've been in this situation before and I know it can be frustrating. Believe me, it works out in the end.
I have a ton of HW for school, so I'll be back later to add some more goodies (stocks) and also to recap on LGF, STV, NVAX and some other current favorites and new potentials.
