In case you are wondering why I haven't really posted all day, its because I'm not feeling too well. I've decided to relax for now and take it easy. In any case, if I feel a little better I will post later. I don't believe I'll be going out tonight if this keeps up. I just hope I don't have bird flu, lol. Im only kidding, Im sure its not bird-flu... ;)

Hello and welcome to my blog. My name is Nick and I am a recent graduate of a top research university. I currently hold a BA degree in Psychology. My main interests are industrial/organizational psychology, HR management and of course, securities and the financial markets. I became interested in trading and investing in stocks a few years ago by pure chance and curiosity. After learning some of the basics in 2003, I began to trade in full force in 2004. Although I've been trading for only a few years, I have learned much about stocks, and analyzing charts in this relatively short time span. My experience and chart reading skills are my edge in successfully navigating the stock market. My strategy and discipline is a blend of trader and stock picker. My style of trading has helped me find some of the current markets top winners in their infancy. In addition to my own personal trading and investing, I also manage assets and portfolios for close friends and family. My goals are to continue to improve and refine my trading/investing strategies in order to further enhance my performance in the market. Eventually, I would like to establish my own investment/asset management firm.

Thanks for caring! I appreciate it! But seriously I can't believe I got sick! It must have been the beer last night! Oh well! I guess no hitting up the bar tonite! I will take it easy tonight, and catch up some hw and some research! Lol, yeah I can't really blame the parrots, but you know! I'm sure its nothing though, just a big-a$$ migraine and a little temperature increase, nothing more than just a regular fever.
Yeah I was planning on posting some of the IBD's top picks and seeing how they perform (maybe even buying one of their recs). I like their recs, but you gotta know when to buy them! I got burned twice buying one of their tops picks because I bought at the wrong time (IRIS and QGEN). But otherwise, they made great recs on NGS, SQM, NWRE, BTUI and many more winners.
I agree, Jim Cramer can be both a blessing to a stock and at the same time a real BIG MENACE! I sure hope he's a blessing! True, we don't need no Cramer! And truth be told the stock has been performing well way before his rec on it! Hey if you like ESLR, wait until it retraces a little! It has quite the run up. Im not saying it wont go higher. Im just saying try to get a better deal on it. Although I like ESLR, I am still a little hesitant with putting too much money into it (look up the chart for DSTI and you will know why!). These alternate energy/solar plays are still speculative. It will be years until solar energy will really be red hot! I'm hoping HOM could pull thru, it would be really bullish if it does so! If it bounces it will recieve a lot more institutional support! We will see this coming week! I like both SLXA and QSC. I like QSC a little more now, but SLXA is still cool! I'd like it to take a small dip to provide a nice buying opp! It just shot up like crazy these past few days! I know QSC is really risky bu dang, did you see the insider buys lately! Someone knows something and I wanna make money off of it!
Retail is definitly hot! Keep that GES, HIBB and GIL on radar! I still havent done a retail special! I do plan on it though! Anyways Dave, Ima go relax some more! I hope to be back in action in a few hrs! Later Dave! Thanks for the check in!
