What are you looking for to pull the trigger on ISTA?

Chad,

I pulled the trigger too soon. I was interested in the above average volume and the chart pattern (very good support and flow above the 50day Ma with a thrust-like breakout). Other reasons include small market cap (undervalued), small float and increased institutional interest.

I figured it had support at the 50 day MA. Guess I should have waited for the dip. Sometimes I get a bit ahead of myself and buy a stock too soon, as I hate missing out on a move.

I understand fully! I jumped into APAC based on trend and volume. Today was an overal crap day, so I'll ride it for a few more and see what turns up. MELA has been my biggest winner so far.

Take care,
Chad.

What's on the radar, Nick? One of my NY trading buddies is confident is sell-offs the next week or so.

Happy weekend,
Chad.

Chad,

Good to see that MELA has been treating you well. APAC should do well too. I do have a few more good stocks on the radar but I am holding off until next week. Hard to tell if a sell off is coming, but it could be possible if the DJIA cannot find support above the 20 day MA. I guess we'll have to wait and see what happens in the next few weeks. Check back later for new trade ideas. Take care Chad.

My trader friends in New York were convinced of a coming sell off. I hate following the rumor mills but some you have to take heart in, just like you pointed out the recent defensive moves in your latest post.

Take care,
Chad.
