Those construction picks are a lot stronger than I would have thought they would be, given the real estate outlook.

Thanks for the list! It's like getting the answer sheet to a midterm a week in advance ;)

lol...

yes, construction/machinery stocks are on the rise and are doing quite well. I tend to avoid them though as I usually try to jump in smaller, undiscovered stocks. Stocks such as BUCY, TEX, etc;, are great for traders who are running a large portfolio and looking for trades that are high volume/high liquidity and stable.

By the way did you see KKD? Looks like traders are hungry for donuts...

I saw KKD yesterday when you posted it. I laughed too! Donuts are flying off the radar!

Added to ACLS....

A bit of profit taking today...just as was expected. It will be interesting to see if most of the selling gets absorbed by the EOD. I would be cautious if the selling continues and the markets sell off hard by the close (that could signal a turn in the markets...at least for the short term future)...

Chad,

Everybody loves donuts! I actually saw an article of the company on the Yahoo home page. It was talking about the rise and fall of KKD. I guess that may have spurred some buying interest. Minyanville posted something about the tragedy of krispy kremes..too funny

CATM: technicals look stunning, but volume is lacking...I've been long since August, but I may add more if volume picks up. A good spot to also initiate a position in CATM (again, if volume shows up).

Donuts are low overhead, gotta be a profitable business unless they are opening stores too fast or burning through profits on some other expense. I don't find it hard to see the success. I'd buy a franchise!

Good re-entry in ACLS. I regret not taking the profits! ...but still see them going farther.

I saw CATM but passed it over because of the volume. I'll check it again this afternoon.

CAMP also looking good,

ACLS looks like it is great shape to continue on with a longer term move...as long as it can stay above the 1.50 mark.

Yeah, ACLS, great pickup from the low; about to shape a nice solid hammer if the momentum keeps up. It's probably my favorite position.

HPJ keeps acumulating though. INHX is too shallow for my liking. I should have taken a closer looke it its average trade volume. I like GIII.

HPJ may be in for a short term dip to the 4.00-4.03 range if it doesn't close by the HOD by EOD. But that will just be a short term dip before a large move higher. I may add on such a dip.

INHX is slowly firming up and will most likely breakout once a catalyst hits the market. That or if an institution starts to accumulate more aggressively. It will go up, just not sure how long it will take. GIII looks good, but just a tad too extended. Wait for a dip on that one.

on second thought, plot a channel on its chart and look for an entry on a dip towards the lower end of the bottom channel.
