On the Move: SNT

Here is a stock that I have been keeping a close eye on for quite some time. It has finally broken out on high volume. If you choose to play it becareful. The stock is low in price and usually trades rather thinly. The chart on the stock is bullish and there isn't any news out in connection with the move.

Downturn, Upturn or Rangebound, we should make money Nick. Cpl yrs down the road, stock market will be a dead meat and it will be toooooo hard to make any money anywhere.
We should be on heels, reactive, pro-active and wht it takes but focus on multiplying our current money faster than govt created inflation and falling greenback.

Two Years at the most then quit. Persistence and determination to survive the coming tsunami makes me awake and alert lately.

I really appreciate you posting your trade ideas Nick. One of the first I came across and I am stuck with you thick and thin.

Do you do options trading at all. Pls share any BEAUTIFUL option trade ideas if you come across any.

PWE sep 35.00 50 cents calls look very attractive to me.

Have a good weekend.

Yre,

Thanks for being a true loyal reader. I do appreciate it and I hope that you continue to read. Readers such as yourself are my real motivation. I started this blog as a way for me to help others (and myself!) It has been a learning tool and a great place to vent my frustration, hopes, fears and dreams.
The market is a very stressful and challenging place. I understand where you are coming from when you say "two years and then quit". For some, that is all they need in order to make an early retirement possible. I can't blame you. I was thinking that myself but I'm planning on sticking around for a while. I really want to do this for the long run. I truly love what I do and I am incredibly passionate about the financial markets. Hard to believe that a few years ago I was dead set on being an industrial psychologists. But once the trading bug bit me, I knew I was hooked. Most of the people that I look up to are professional money managers running their own hedge fund or private equity firm. I look up to them because they are at their top of their game and at the same level that I aspire to reach. So there is no way that I can quit after two years of good gains. I am truly in this for the long run.
As far as options trading is concerned, I sometimes post a few option trades. But I rarely do so. The last options that I posted were for the stock TRR. If you do a search on my blog you should find the post. Those options were successful (call options) and they did appreciate in value. Anyhow, it is rare but when I do find a good options trade, I do post it. I just haven't really found any as of yet. I took a look at PWE (Penn West Energy)and the stock looks like it may be bottoming so your calls should be in good shape. Best of luck with that. Anyway, have a good weekend as well. Take care.
