The Bounce Attempt Take 2
We need a HOD close with at least average volume.
This is a one way ticket that takes you on a wonderful journey into the vast world that is the stock market through my eyes, my point of view.
Today's bounce was not unexpected. The markets were stuck in a downward channel and approaching double bottom territory. In fact, the NASDAQ and RUT and SPX reached that phase even before the DJIA, so expect the bounce to concentrate on small and micro-cap stocks.
If we do not close near the days high or form a pivot point, there will be more downside to come, possibly all the way down to the 200 day MA. Still, there are plenty of stocks showing resilience which indicates that this downside action may not last. At this point it is too early to tell. In the meantime, here are several more short sale candidates to play around with.
New Shorts: BMTI, BVN, EPU, EXEL, GPRO, PRGS, SCCO
There seems to be some negative action in stocks connected with Peru and copper mining (due to the elections).
New Buys: ANTH, SQNS (may be at a good b.p.)
Shorts: DANG, DQ, EJ, HOGS, NWL, SINA, SSI, YOKU (mentioned 1st on May 16)
all of these are in a confirmed downtrend and will continue to decline unless they bottom out or get bought out. Happy Shorting.
