Hey folks!

I just realized that some of the stocks that I have recommended on the last post have made some incredible gains! I hope some of you took heed and checked them out and even bought some. I always strive to bring you the hottest stocks that I really believe will appreciate in price. This blog is a way for me to share my passion of finding hot stocks for maximum profit with you, the readers! Of course I am not able to post as often as I'd like (school and work is a chore), I am still very happy to sneak in some glances at the market and find some interesting stocks with hot charts! Its my passion, and to me, its fun.]

Anyways, check out Dover Downs Gaming and Entertainment (DDE) trading at 17.65. Just becareful trying to get your order filled because it is thinly trading and the bid and ask is very spread out.

Dover Downs Gaming and Entertainment (DDE - NYSE) 3 month chart- Currently trading at 17.65

Another favorite that comes second is Gametech International Inc (GMTC). GMTC is on the NASDAQ and trades at 4.75. Today it has released a positive earnings report which has helped ignite the stocks first upward moves.

Genies in a Bottle

Hey folks,

Lets admit something: Not a single one of us would mind a hot stock that produced such a high return rate that all our wishes came true. Staying true to that, I present to you 4 stocks that I believe just may contain that Genie in the Bottle. Forget Alladin's lamp! The real genies are inside beverage companies. But not just any beverage companies. Everyone is trying to find the next HANS...pure B.S. and baloney. There is no next HANS. But there is always another hot stock out there that can give you an immense return if you can be patient for a few years. As a matter of fact, I have a handful of beverage stocks that I believe will make all your wishes come true and then some.

The stocks are
JSDA
FIZ
HKBV
BRVO

I know, most of these are very small companies and even penny stocks. I know I said I was quitting penny stocks, but I couldn't pass these up. Most penny stocks DO NOT have a tangible product or even service. These do. I have tried the actual products, so its not as if they don't exist. The matter is, are they selling? Thats what we have to figure out.

Some strategies...
If you plan on investing in HKBV (Hat Trick Beverages), I wouldn't play more than $5000 at this level. Of course its entirely up to you. The more money you put in, the bigger the risk, but the bigger the reward. I use the $5000 as an example. You have to assume that the $5000 can be severly cut down to almost nothing if the products don't sell. So if you can tolerate losing $5000, there ya go. Of course if the stock ever goes to 0.50 cents in 2 years, you will be sitting nicely in a Benzo.

BRVO- this one is a little safer as well. I wouldn't invest more than $10,000 on BRVO. Probably less is better.

JSDA and FIZ are a little safer bit still relatively risky. Still, these are more established and could double in 2 years or less if sales continue to climb or if they introduce exciting new products to their line up.

Make some Noise for NOIZ (Micronetics Wireless Inc)

Hey ladies and gents,

Just wanted to alert you to a pretty interesting stock called Micronetics Wireless Inc (NOIZ). The stock is posting a pre-breakout run today and I believe NOIZ can be a great intermediate term trade. I would let the stock drop to at least the $15 dollar range before putting too much money into it. You can buy a small position now, but put some $$$ aside so you can buy cheaper shares when it dips. The stock is currently trading at 16.00

Also keep an eye on ACR, WWE, and EFJI as they are likely breakout candidates.

Oh and for those who like the IBD microcaps, ABAX and ZIGO are looking like good buys at this point. They both have come down in price and present a nice buying opportunity. I like both- but maybe ABAX a little better (technically).

The Long and Short of It: Short Alert: IIIN

Hey folks,

I got a nice short candidate for ya. My recommendation is Insteel Industries (IIIN). Check out the chart. This stock has more than doubled and hasn't even taken a breath of air. I think its all about to change. Short some now and reap the rewards later.

Long Alert: Try going long with OFLX. Careful, this stock is very risky and low float.

Stock Spotlight: Schick Technologies Inc. (SCHK)

Hey folks, I just wanted to shed some light on a stock that I have been very bullish on for the past several months. The stock I'm talking about is Schick Technologies Inc. The pronounciation of the name is not important, but the ticker symbol is - (SCHK). SCHK trades on the NASDAQ and is a fairly new entry into the worlds premier electronic trading system. You see, not that long ago, SCHK used to trade on the OTC.BB. Because of improved financials, it was able to enter the NASDAQ system and the rest is history. Of course, IBD's bullish ratings on the stock have helped as well for whomever has kept an eye on it. I have had this stock in my sights when it was trading for now more than 20 bucks. Unfortunatly, I was a bit skeptical of it-because of its OTC status, so I stayed away, but kept an eye on it. When I saw that it had become a NASDAQ symbol, I pounced on it immediatly, creating a modest position in the 30 dollar range. Since then, I have accumulated on the dips and have built a nice position. The point is, this stock is heading higher-much higher. Once the funds start poking their nose in this one, +50 is easily attainable. Also, SCHK is a very small company and is starting to look like an attractive takeover candidate. Regardless, SCHK will appreciate in value because of its consistant quarterly growth. It's really a win-win situation. So my advice is buy some now, buy on dips and hold it away for a while. You won't be dissapointed.

Loose Lips Sink Ships...

Hey folks,

I know that I have featured MC Shipping (MCX) as a buy not too long ago. Unfortunatly this play is turning sour, as the stock is being heavily sold on no news. The recent price drop below the 50day MA may be smart money abandoning ship It is still too early to tell but I will keep an eye on it. I am suffering a slight loss on MCX since I bought in low 14's, and 13's. Still even if cash out, I wont be in such shape. I hope that who ever bought MCX on my recommendation is not suffering too much of a loss. Remember, I recommended it under 15, so I hope that you have bought it under 15 as well.
Regardless, I have some new picks that are sure winners, so if you want, play them and get your $$$ back and more. I will post some tomm for the Valentine's Day Special. See ya'll then!

In focus: Commscope Inc (CTV)

hey folks,

I know its been a while, but its been hectic. School is especially demanding this semester (high level courses and several labs) so I have not been able to post continuously. Have no fear, I'm still hear and I still keep an eye (at least one) on the market and potentially hot stocks. One such hot stock that I believe you should know about it Commscope Inc (CTV). CTV is a little known stock that is very growth orientated. Its earnings are a thing of wonder, as CTV slowly improves from quarter to quarter. This makes CTV an attractive stock to not only trade but to invest in for some time if need be. Currently, CTV is trading at 23.88 and reports earnings on February 28 (2/28).

Commscope Inc (CTV - NYSE) 3 month chart- Current Price: 23.88

Without a doubt, CTV's chart is a thing of beauty. What is even more exciting is the fact that CTV is in a hot industry- Telecom Equipment. The cherry on top is the incredible earnings growth that this stock posesses. Another blockbuster quarter can send this stock skyhigh, over $40 a pop.

MCX makes the list...

Hey folks,

As it turns out, MC Shipping (MCX) has made it to the IBD 100 List. Thinking about it, the rumor of it being featured on the list is probably what helped the MCX break out of resistance in the $14 range. MCX has debuted at #58 on the list. It is also listed with a $16.35 Buy Point (B/P). This is music to my ears because I wouldn't mind picking up a few more shares below the buy point. I hope that my loyal readers were able to grab some shares at a huge discount (below 15). If so, hold on because you are in for one wild ride with this one. If you still haven't established a position, don't fret, as you still have plenty of time.

MCX Breakout..

Hey folks,

I hope you guys bought a little bit of MCX. It can help ease the pain of todays crazy antics. I do have something to say about the market today. It seems like a lot of "winners" that helped lift the market in late 2005, early 2006 are faltering. It may be due to a top off of the market. This can be true if you look at the DJA industrial charts at a glance. 11,000 was tremendous resistance and the fact that we are struggling to stay afloat in the high 10,000's is not very reassuring. It is becoming a stock pickers market once again, where shorting and picking individual top performing stocks, is king and ideal as well. With that in mind, last nights pick of MCX is on fire today and a sure winner in my opinion.

Technical Eye-Candy: MC Shipping (MCX)

Hey folks,

Just wanted to recommend a stock pick for tomm and the rest of next week (maybe even longer). It is a nice stock that I have kept an eye on- MC Shipping (MCX) on the AMEX

MC Shipping (MCX - AMEX) Current Price = $14.78

I know, what you are thinking: It's chart is looking really good and I couldn't agree more. Just a note, although this stock is capable of hitting 20 and higher, I have to stress profit taking. When you have made a decent profit at least sell some of your position. Because stocks such as MCX have a nasty way of going down at high velocity as well.

Focus on Stocks with Strength

Hey guys and gals,

It seems as if the market is facing some upward resistance as most of yesterdays late gains have been spit back out of our portfolios. In turbulent times like these, I like to hunt for stocks that are showing abnormally high strength. The strength can be technical (chart wise), earnings or as a result in confidence of positive future price action (intense insider buying or stock buy back plans).

One stock that I want to bring to your attention is SCHK. Wait a sec, I have mentioned SCHK quite a few times before, even while it was low 20's and trading in the .BB market. I really do hope that at least someone else noticed this little gem that has released positive earnings results this morning. SCHK beat earnings estimates by 0.03 cents by posting an EPS of 0.33 vs. 0.30. So now, with the stock hovering close to $40 a share, can I recommend it as a buy? You betcha! The stock has already hit my 2nd target of $40 (its close enough), so I am extending it a new target for the next few weeks or months. My third target for SCHK is $50! Yup, you are looking at the new HOLX! As a matter of fact, not that many people are aware that SCHK even exists. I suspect that as time goes by and more institutions become aware of it, there will be more buying and maybe even another offering since it is thinly traded. Possible stock split as well? Who knows. All I know is, SCHK is a great stock to hold onto for the next few months.

Some other notables are:

CECE at 7.30

RBC at 37.14

PVH at 36.20

MLR at 23.25

RELV at 16.30

PLNR at 14

CMI at 98.20

CENX at 35
