Titan International Inc (TWI) escapes takeover bid..

Hey folks,

From what seems as an unusual but fortunate set of events, Titan Intl Inc (TWI) (a stock that I mentioned previously in my Tire shortage post) has ended talks over a take over bid with a subsidiary of JP Morgan. This makes TWI a free stock to pursue. And believe me, this is great news. Remember the tire shortage that occured because of the increased demand that mining/coal companies placed on construction vehicles? Well back then, I mentioned that although TWI would be the purest play to use to take advantage of the situation, but because it was being aquired, it would be futile to do so. Well, now that the bid is dropped, we are able to finally pursue this stock and reap the future rewards. Just to give you an idea of how much growth is possible, TWI just announce their earnings results and they pulled in an impressive 34% increase over last quarter. The verdict?? BUY!!!

Its the Shoes......

Its got to be the kicks..

Hey guys, if you are like me, you are probably wondering why all these shoe companies are popping up and posting tremendous earnings reports and postive chart breakouts. From my perspective, it must be the positive consumer spending and the need for new shoes. Not only that, but also try to imagine how many shoes were lost/ destroyed from the heavy hurricane season. In home floodings probably washed away quite a few. This I am sure has also helped out other companies as well, such as NWL, CLX and AW to name a few. But I am not interested in those. I am interested in stocks that are just starting to heat up and enjoy the spot light. Thats why I am recommending SCVL and BWS and ICON. I also like SKX and SHOO as well and they are great idea too. So, there is definatly a lot to work with. SCVL and BWS and ICON are probably the better of the 5 mentioned in terms of entry. Good luck!

Keeping up with the Jones's

Hey guys, not too long ago, I recommended some beverage stocks that I believed were poised for tremendous future gains. Since then, several have been heating up. Stocks such as BRVO, FIZ and JSDA have all appreciated in value. As a matter of fact, I have been especially bullish on one for a particularly long time (even before the post). Jones Soda is a name that I have been popping up quite a bit. This is because I believe that there is plenty of growth potential locked in this tiny behemoth. Sure it moved up almost 10%, but should you sell? Its up to you. JSDA is one of those rare stocks that I believe are good enough to invest in- for the long run. My advice is, take some profits, but keep a little JSDA and buy more for the long run!

Keep an eye on DECC and VWPT

Hey guys, for next week, keep an eye on a previously mentioned pick, DECC and a new one that I am mentioning today, VWPT. Both stocks have very bullish stocks and performed quite well on a lackluster day. Buying interest and volume are pointing towards positve performance in the days and weeks to come.

Lance Inc (LNCE) is a buy...

Hey guys, just wanted to recommend LNCE. I have been keeping an eye on it and now I am recommending it as a buy. Despite posting a loss, buyers are filling up the orders, helping the stock stage a breakout in progress...keep an eye on it...

CTV and HITT hit a home run......

Hey guys,

I have to say, despite a rather hectic bumpy trading day, I have the wonderful news of great earnings bestowed upon two of my favorite positions: CTV and HITT.

So far, I am up to a 26% return on CTV and a 25% return on HITT..not too shabby! So far my best returns for 2006 are: IVAC with a 113% return......ACH with a 54% return, SCHK with a 56% return and PLXS with an 80% return..

CommScope (CTV- NYSE) 3 month chart

Hittite Microwave (HITT)

Keep an Eye on PLNR...

hey folks,

PLNR is going to be releasing earnings after the market close. I would keep an eye on it as I believe that they will beat earnings. This stock has been on my radar for a while and I have just been itching to jump in. Today may be the day..

Also keep an eye on CTV and HITT as they are releasing earnings as well. Good luck!

Packeteer Inc is ready for lift off...

well at least momentarily...

guys, keep an eye on this one. At 13.60, it is a steal!

Low Ball Move to the Bulls...

Today's morning action can only be described in one word: Disgusting.....

Still, some stocks tend to shine regardless of the situation. Some stocks showing strength include, CTV, DXCM, DDE (earnings) and AVD...

As I am writing this, the market seems to be doing a reversal..can we actually close positive today? Whatever you do, don't let go of your positions just yet....

Replacing SCHK....

Hey folks,

As you may or not know, SCHK (Schick Technologies) took quite a beating the last few days. I was able to leave my position right before the carnage began. I didn't get to sell my entire position above 50, which is what I originally wanted to do, so instead I sold most in the 49/48 range. I think the sell signals on SCHK were pretty obvious as the chart broke its trend (violated its trend lines, etc) and thus, sent the RS to the dumps. Yesterdays bounce was useless as more dumping occured among the institutional investors. Anyways, it doesn't matter, because as you and I know, the name of the game is taking profits, selling and jumping into something else. Well, that something else, happens to be Daktronic Inc (DAKT). The stock is currently at 40.46 and is trading at a nice discount. I expect earnings to be surpassed, mostly on the strength of their increased sales due to the fact that construction firms have been heavily using their portable LED road signs (which happen to be solar-powered). Anyway, this is a good long term stock, so don't become very impatient with it.

I will also recommend another favorite at the moment. I also like Ingersoll-Rand (IR). I do believe that this stock is way overdue for a nice breakout. It may be in the works, so just keep an eye on it.

INTN is just starting to heat up....

Hey guys...

One company that I have been keeping an eye on and hitting myself in the head for not buying is INTN. Today it a rather impressive breakout and I can't hold back on it anymore. I know I recommended it a few days ago, so I hope some of you had more sense than I do and bought before hand.

INTN is En Fuego...

Every time it trades near 200,000 shares, the stock pops up tremendously..and today was the icing on the cake...

Money Flow chart is looking very attractive.

RS is looking perky...

Opinon: You mean to tell me you are not sure if its a buy?!

CSG Systems Intl (CSGS) is En Fuego...

Hey folks,

If you like stocks like DOX and DST, then you need to check out CSGS. CSGS just reported earnings today and the stock has been heating up. I like it as a short term trade and I do recommend it as a potential buy.

Nice break out action helps lay down the foundation for future upward momentum...and thats not all...

Volume is high and stock is at 52wk hi, any questions??

Money is starting to flow into the stock from institutional buying.

gotta love the chart on the RS...

Earnings growth is looking pretty good!

Drink Coke...buy Pepsi Bottling

Hey guys,

Just wanted to point a stock that I believe is a safe bet for the next couple of weeks. I've been eyeing it for a while, and I finally decided to buy some a few days ago. I haven't had much time to post about it, but here it is....Pepsi Bottling Group (PBG). Please do not confuse PBG with PEP, as PEP is lousy compared to PBG.

Small Cap Stunners....

Hey folks,

As unbelievable as it is, Oil continues to make new highs, commodities are still on fire and the market is reacting favorably?! Is this a dream? Nope! Just more investors putting their money into the U.S market amid news of the FED easing off rates. Thats good news enough for me!

Have you guys kept an eye on coal stocks?! CNX, and BTU are on fire lately and will continue to be so! If you haven't gotten back in, I suggest you do so. Also check out CXG (CNX's gas division). I remember a few months ago citing some speculation on a seperate stock for their gas division and it has finally come true! Buy before it heads to $50.

Anyways, the stocks I want you to check out are: INTN, DTMG and DECC. These are looking ready to hit new highs and could be potential winners in a few weeks. Have fun!

Time for a little Catharsis...

If you are like me and a little dissapointed with your portfolios performance, despite the awesome day on the DOW and NAS, well then its time to for a little catharsis. Its time to let go of the losers and go with what works. This bull market is selective, not just on specific sectors, but specific stocks within the sectors, so just cause mining is hot, you may have gotten yourself into a stock that isn't moving in tandem with the rest of the sector. That means, time to dump and restructure. For instance, if you like children's clothing retailers and you've been stuck with a loser like CRI (Carters), you should change out of CRI and perhaps buy some PLCE and GYMB. Also don't rule out stocks just because the companies do not sound so appealing. I remember thinking about buying EZPW when it was no more than 15 a pop. I decided not to because pawn shops sounded ghetto and boring. Now I'm slapping myself in the face and watching how the stock has hit an all time high of $39.39! Yah! Talk about boring, right? Anyways, just gotta vent a little. I am also not pleased with BWEB's performance since recommending it. It it doesn't pick up by the end of the week, forget it then. I am already down 6% on it and not too happy. Still, I am happy with some other holdings such as SCHK, BWS, CTV and GGB.

Owens Corning...

Hey guys,

If there is one thing I hate, its companies that are making billions and yet they remain in debt because of extensive lawsuits. Take Owens Corning (OWENQ) for instance. This is a great company that has been pummeled to the ground. I like this company as a potential buy because any news of its emergence out of bankruptcy can send the stock sky-high. And I mean sky high.. My advice is, that if you dont mind a little risk, pick some up and just forget about the position. The stock is hovering close to the 52wk low so I wouldnt worry about buying at these prices. Just remember to not over do it with the buying. Later.

Spotting Trendz: Soy and Cattle Futures

Hey ladies and gents,

You know, I really like diversification. As the saying goes, variety is the spice of life. And its true. This is why I am also very interested in commodity futures. I have been right on several in the last few months. For instance, I have been able to accuratly spot bottoms and subsequently uptrends in Corn, Sugar, Heating Oil, Gold and Crude Oil. Now it seems that Cattle and Soy Beans are ready to come back with a vengence.

Lets look at Soy. At 5.77, it has come down a long way. My theory is that billions of lactose intolerant Chinese people (and Indian) will depend on it. Just like the demand in China and India drove up Oil, Precious Metals and Steel/Aluminum prices, the same will happen with Soy Bean prices, espcially since its a staple food for them and can also be used for Soy Milk. I am not 100% sure if the cattle demand will be driven by India and China since many are Buddhists and forbid the eating of cows, but we'll have to see. I know the last bit may sound rather funny, but I'm dead serious about it. =)

Great Stocks in Small Packages: BWEB

Hey guys,

A few months ago I recommended QSC at around mid to high 80 cents. Not too long ago, the stock hit a 52wk high of 2.19. Now I don't think I have to tell you how much money you could have made even with a small investment of $8,000 or more. Now I have another potential stock that could post a 100%+ gain.

Questcor Pharmaceuticals (QSC - AMEX)

Todays post is all about Backweb Technologies Ltd (BWEB) Nasdaq Small Cap at 0.857.

The ONLY Stocks that Matter....

..To me at least!

Guys,

Despite every newsletter and analyst swearing that we are in a confirmed rally, have you stopped and looked at how well your portfolio was working for you? If you are not beating the market, well then, what are you doing? If you are not achieving above market level returns, then you are not in the right stocks. In that case, you might as well go for a CD instead of investing in stocks. You would get a higher return (cause of high interest rates) and less risk.

But if you are like me and wont settle for anything less than 25+% returns well then, you need to be in the RIGHT stocks. Most of the stocks that I have posted over the last few weeks and months, have been the Right stocks. I had called a massive buy on Steel stocks, Metal Fabrication Stocks, stocks like CAS, ERS and others way in advance. So, if you have been listening then you are probably beating the market with a big stick by now. If not, don't fret! I have plenty of more stocks to indulge you with!

Technical Eye-Candy: Micrus Endovascular Corp (MEND)

Hey folks,

Just wanted to leave you with a hot stock that has the potential to leave you with high returns, if you can stand some risk. The stock is Micrus Endovascular Corp (MEND) and is trading at 14.14 at the moment. MEND is in the medical products group, along with stocks such as IART and VIVO. I was drawn to the stock mostly because of its high technical strength. Also it has formed a cup with high handle formation as well. I will post a chart and some more info after school! Enjoy!

P.S. If you want to play it a little safer, I suggest RSTI, AVD, IR, DSW, DBRN and RMD.

Busy like 'Whoa'........

Hey folks,

It's me again, N-I-C-to the-K. Just popping through to add some stock picks. I know its been a while since my last post, but getting ready to get B.A. has been painstakingly difficult and timeconsuming. I hardly have any time to trade stocks or look for new winners. Still I hope some of you stuck by some previously mentioned picks, such as DDE, GMTC, UIC, USIH, NCTY, THO, WTSLA, KNXA, SCHK, LGN and many more. The lackluster ones I suggested, should've been obvious to spot and you should've sold them when noticing lackluster performance.

Some new stocks for you to check out are:
STKL
ANDE
DXCM
TOO
ATHR
MEND
RSTI
IR
IPSU
and
AVD

Have fun with these!
